You may have read interviews, sentences or ramblings by Ms Boot on places like Scrine and Grudknows.
The owner of threecornerjack.com has gotten me to agree to write here. There's a few different things, including some of the internal meanderings of my mind , a jumble of stuff and a few photos of recent traversing.
I've still been doing a bit of work on a the full reading room for the corner, but it is greatly delayed and looks to be covered in a fine patina of dust. For now, and quite possibly forever (as is the nature of all things temporary), we have hobbled together a temporary reading room.
At the moment there are only a couple of book tales in the reading room, but there are more to come. The next review will probably be about Rex Brereton's book Three Corner Jack: A Collection of Country Characters.
It's Boot if you're a friend, but Ms Boot is my official title, just like Mr John Smith is known to his friends as John. Or Jack. Or Smithy. Or Johnno. Look, just make up your own mind. You can think for yourself, can't you?
"Next time you read a book and are moved strongly by a piece of writing, get out your pen (I said pen, not pencil) and write something on that page."
